Interdisciplinary Review for the Humanities
Call for Reviews – Eighth Issue, Spring 2016
Estrema: interdisciplinary review for the humanities is an on-line publication of the Center for Comparative Studies (CEC) of the School of Arts of the University of Lisbon (FLUL).
Estrema is now calling for reviews of publications which are relevant to the purposes of the our magazine. Giving its interdisciplinary character, estrema accepts reviews of books from several fields of studies such as (but not limited to):
· Visual arts
Reviews should clearly define the relevance and novelty of the reviewed item.
Deadline for submissions: Reviews are accepted on an ongoing basis.
Editing: texts must be in Times New Roman font size 12, 2 line spacing. Styles and automatic editing such as numeration and marks should not be used. For further details please check our Style Guide in www.estrema-cec.com
Bibliographical references/quotation: all quotes and bibliographical references included in the text must follow the Chicago Manual of Style: Author-Date reference system (16th Edition).
Length: Reviews will not be considered unless they have between 700 and 1500 words. Moreover, they must be accompanied by the author’s full name, individual e-mail address and a brief bionote.
Working languages: Portuguese and English.
